Nick Leigh works from his studio in Raglan, a place of rugged west coast beauty and world class surf breaks.

Nick is an industrial designer interested in bold iconic forms and contrasts of materiality.  His work is paired back, simple, economic and rational.  He works on the principal that things should be designed for longevity, but also designed with their next life in mind. 

His philosophies lead him to design products that are not only well considered in their aesthetis, but also their efficient production, minimisation of waste, and high quality resolution.  

When he's not out kite boarding you can generally find him in his Raglan studio, working on projects as diverse as ski poles, bicycle's, and of course his beautiful, refined furniture. 

Having exhibited his furniture overseas and throughout NZ to much acclaim, keep an eye on Nick as he is one of New Zealands hottest up and coming designers.
